How do you sleep Max? You are putting your career and your wealth in front of the health and economic security of
10s of millions of Americans.

Max "They Bought My Office" got $1,500 per day from the insurance companies, HMOs, and big Pharma from
2002 to 2008.

2. Perhaps that's how he should be addressed from now on,
especially when we call his office to lodge a complaint and a demand for single-payer health care. Please note the TOLL FREE Capitol Hill Switchboard numbers in my sig line below - good for first thing Monday morning...

3. The important thing is that HE'S okay.
Now that he's wealthy and famous and has GOVERNMENT FUNDED HEALTH CARE, now is no time for him to be taking risks like alienating the lobbyist invitees to his golf and fishin' jamboree.

11. He is still in the doggie hospital ....
Edited on Sat Jun-20-09 09:46 PM by Botany
.... but he will live and in the long run he will be o.k.

his leg was shattered but the vet surgeons worked miracles .... I told my son that our summer vacation will be
here in Ohio taking care of the dog. 4 weeks in the cage w/ little movement allowed ..... 4 weeks with very short
walks.

send me your e mail and I'll send you a pix.

BTW any chance that famous Steph Miller might put Senator Max "They Bought my Office" into play? I know a friend
who knows somebody that might be able to get something to her.

12. Tell your friend
who has a friend who knows a friend who knows Steph that bleev says "hey".

I've been through the doggie rehab. Best of luck, and you and the boy will enjoy your "vacation".

5. Why don't we here at DU buy our own senator?
If you can buy one for $1,500 a day it's a bargoon.

If all 150,000 members contribute a penny a day, we can afford to buy a senator for ourselves.

For a dime a day per member, we can buy ten senators, enough to make a real difference in all kinds of legislation we care about.

And for Just one buck per member per day we can buy the whole fucking Senate. Just think of the trouble we could cause then,

Not just health care. We could throw the banks and the wall st. crooks under the bus, get the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan, arrest bush, cheney, rove, rummy and rice, and pass legislation outlawing Fox News.

6. It does beg the question, though,
of why some guys who rake in that kind of dough spend it on hairpieces that look like roadkill.

Not that I'm suggesting anything, just wondering.
