They are going to have a cermony of some sort with President Obama. In the ceremny, Big Pharma will pledge $80B in savings over ten years in Medicare and Medicaid drug costs.

These motherfuckers want us to see them more favorably.

They can actually AFFORD to give that money up. Think about that.

They will find oter ways to make that money up. No corporation gives up $8B a year. They will fuck us elsewhere. Think about that.

1. Hey Mr. President... did you get it in writing?
Have the lawyers sewn up all the loopholes?

Are running around talking about not enough votes to try and turn public opinion against a public option.

They got it backwards, they don't want it, so they want to change what people think.

Instead of listening to what people think and getting that done.

Just heard on MSNBC the newscaster asked the interview how can they not have enough votes when 70% people support it.

5. I think you are right. This offer from pharma reminds me of an offer
made by, I think the AMA, years ago, to cut costs. That worked out well. :sarcasm:

4. Funny how all of a sudden the healthcare industry/pharma can become all noble when the heat is on
TO me, this is a sign of guilt - perhaps we should throw them in Gitmo without charges - it's clear they really have done something wrong.
