Missed Morning Joe for the past week. Need filling in, please. Has Joe come up with his own health |
|
plan yet or is he STILL just yammering about how much it costs?
Has no one said to him, "OK, Joe, we've heard you, all 200 times you've repeated yourself over and over again. We're waiting to hear what YOUR plan to reform health care is!" Has no one on his show asked him that?
It seems to me that if he gets hammered every day with that question, sooner or later he's gonna have to put up or shut up.
P.S. Missed today's segment with Tweety, damnit. I overslept (jet lag from my week in L.A. and a 3 hour time difference).

1. Every morning I see these Joe |
|
threads, I gotta ask, who cares what the bastard says? And today, "Joe gets smackdown from Tweety!" on healthcare. Again, who cares? The asshole is on tv, what power does he yield? Nothing, just another pos that I do not watch or care for, means nothing to me. /rant off

Just answered your own question. Your disdain regardless, anyone with a TV show wields a lot more influence than any print or internet journalist.

5. His opinion doesn't count but he's important only in that he is part |
|
of the propaganda machine and seems to set the tone for the daily talking points. I listen to know what the other side's feeble viewpoints are.

2. Say, didn't he write a book? Will there be signings? Will we hear about it until we puke? |

3. It was great this morning. Chris Matthews tried to get Joe to commit |
|
to the betterment healthcare and Joe fumbled and fumed and chastised Chris for trying to put words into his mouth. Joe is STILL worried that it's going to cost way too much backing his position with a poll showing that 80+% of people polled are "concerned" about cost.....nevermind the 70+% who want a public option! Typical Joe. He and Mika Mouse are elite, you know! Hopefully, Chris will play a clip of this banter on his show this afternoon. I e-mailed him requesting such.

6. Thanks! that's helpful. |

I often wish Tweety would slam Joe on his show, which I always watch. But he never seems to do that. It looks like Joe is heading the same way with Tweety that he headed with Keith O.
Did Tweety confront Joe with his ignoring the 70+% of Americans saying they wanted a public option for h.c.? THAT'S what I'm waiting for...

7. I went back and watched the Matthews segment |
|
only because my TV was already on 356 and I read here that it was worth seeing. In other words I NEVER WATCH THE SHOW...and yes he was saying he was for health care but is a concern troll with the cost. Trying to make the case that he was critical of what the Bush admin. did with their overspending...of course that was AFTER he voted for the war and any thing else the GOP wanted when he was in the House...Mika? She's a twit-a little rich girl who never had to worry once in her life where her next meal was coming from or how any doctor, dentist or orthodontist bill were going to be paid. It's so easy for the rich to poo poo the ideas that will benefit everybody and not just them.

8. Where can I watch the segment? I've tried to view it from the MSNBC website but |
|
each segment cuts out after just a few seconds. I never can get it to play the entire segment...
