Sanford's ass should be impeached. But being that he's Republican, and

SC is red as a baboon's ass, I doubt seriously he will be.

1. The Lt. Gov. may be gunning for him.
There are rumors that the Bauer leaked the missing story. Repukes eating their own. I love it!

2. Sanford gets no love from the Republicans in SC
Seriously, they hate him. One of them probably leaked the story.

He very well could end up impeached.

4. They do hate him.
I mean HATE. I'm not sure if they will go to the trouble to impeach him though. It's much more fun for them to override all his vetoes. They just like to bat him around. He's only in office until 2010 so they might keep him.

I think they will pass some law about what to do if the governor is unreachable and has not legally given anyone power to act. There are too many gray areas there.

3. Sadly, his constituents are showing support.
Except for my Mom, who hated him even before he turned down the stimulus package money for education.

He has done nothing but harm for the people of SC, but they don't get it. They have knee-jerk support for Repubs in office.

5. That's Their Problem...
Sanford's "political star" is now becoming yet another rushpublican reality show. As is the case with Mooselini Palin, when the story is about your personal life and not your politics, you lose.

Just like my state got rid of its inept and corrupt Governor, Sanford is South Carolina's problem.
