Yeah, as a woman, that's the kind of image I want in my mind when I'm tucking into a burger. :puke: I find the imagery degrading and offensive, and the text disgusting - it's like it was written and designed by a sexually frustrated frat boy. This objectification of women is horrible and has got to stop.

I'll be going elsewhere from now on when I want a fast food fix. The people at Burger King can go and burger each other.

I liked their "King" commercials at first. They were offbeat. Then they started with the angry mom's trying to kill the King (sexism and violence, what more could they want?), then that Junior selling himself nonsense (underage prostitution allusions are almost as good as prison rape), then that Whopper Virgin stuff.

And they are the only national chain with a vegetarian burger. Lucky for me, it's not that good, so I can ignore them.

I know it's supposed to look like she's moving to fellate the lipstick, but I don't get that from this shot. It almost looks to me like the intent here was to make her look like she's smelling a rose--note the little pink/red chips at the base of the lipstick that suggest fallen rose petals. Move the product an inch and a half to the right, and the ad would have a whole different feel to it. I note the product looks a lot like a round of ammunition--maybe that was to get men to buy it for their wives?

The text is kinda weird, though--this is supposed to be the brightest red they can possibly make, but it looks pink to me. Maybe they fucked up when they separated this ad, but if the lipstick in the ad is anything close in color to the actual product, it wasn't red.
