Jacko may be dead or dying |

Whatever he was the greatest performer in decades. Go with the dignity they refused you despite being innocent. They can't change your greatness.

36. TMZ and Goodman are equally as reliable |
|
Many people think Democracy Now as a radio version of Mother Jones. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Mother Jones is an investigative news magazine. They do copious amounts of research, verify every fact and do the due dilligence.
Democracy Now is a talk show that brings on leftists of all stripes to talk. Sometimes the interviewee has a book to sell - sometimes not. But the folks they bring on go from the knowledgeable to the plain old crazy. The real ultra-left (not the Democratic Party as O'Reilly would have you believe) who are a marginalized but vocal group, would barely make a blip in MJ. But on DN they get full airtime to spread their craziness, and sometimes hate (I remember Noam Chomsky being extremely Anti-Semitic on DN once - and by Anti-Semetic I don't mean "Israel is murdering Palestinians" being mistaken for Anti-Semitism, but plain out "The Jews control this, the Jews control that")

I believe there was ample evidence to safely conclude that he was a danger to children if not an out and out pedophile.

I also never believed he sexually abused any child. I DO have my theories as to what actually happened but do not care to indulge in that exchange.

with me singing Michael Jackson songs for them. I remember taking my four year old nephew to the plaza for Christmas and the choir was singing Heal the World which I had just bought him. I can still see my delighted nephew singing Heal the World. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W61Q-EZ8R7M

23. The first album my first son owned was Thriller. He was 7 or so. |
|
And he "moonwalked" all over the livingroom couches and chairs. He grew up to be a musician. For that gift of music and movement, I'm grateful.
I suppose many people only remember the troubled man and all the worries about the children later.
Myself, I can't reduce him to that. :grouphug:
