1. She pre-empted the healthcare debate.. but they probably didn't want to stick with it so much
she had cancer and left the country looking for a cure...Germany I think, because our healthcare is less adequate.

I for one am glad that she is out of pain. RIP Farrah.

Jacko's death is a comlete shock. It is kind of like watching the OJ slow speed White Bronco incident, when all the networks were carrying it live. He was a great entertainer, although not my fave, and a very troubled man. RIP to MJ too.

edited to add: With Farrah, her death was announced. With MJ, he was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest, and then no word. He was part of my childhood as part of the Jackson 5.
