Anyone ever see Myra Breckinridge, I think Farrah's first movie? |
|
She has a supporting role...and she looks great...the movie is awful, scary awful, and I give Raquel Welch props for doing audio commentary...she often says things like "What were we thinking?" but every time Farrah's on screen Raquel says, "Oh, she was so pretty....Oh she was so sweet."
RIP Farrah.

1. Farrah did many courageous roles |
|
She played many very strong women and received many awards. It's a shame people only remember her for Charlie's Angels, although women carrying a one hour drama was pretty groundbreaking at the time. Too bad it turned into T&A.

I loved to watch three strong women on the teevee - but it annoyed the hell out of me that they batted their eyes to get over on men instead of using their brains. Then again, when I was just 8 years old I wanted to grow up to be Sally Rogers (not Laura Petry), so what does that tell you about me.

It's the only movie I ever went to where dozens of departing viewers from the prior showing came out of the theater and begged us to get our money back for our tickets and do something else with our evening.
A real shame; the book was pretty good......

9. It's different seeing it on DVD, maybe because you go in with the |
|
expectation of watching a really bad movie. Its sort of historical in the sense that it is one of the worst movies of all time.
