And, as it annually does; my health insurance premium went up again |
|
My employer posted their annual notice about how our company provided health care plan cost has risen again. Every July 1 the premiums raise, at least for the last six years. The usual reasons were given, "lots of claims, time of year, people are sick' blah blah blah. And on the notice, the V.P. of our operation asked for us to consider real health needs before consulting a doctor. And asked for possible solutions. So I think that tomorrow, I will post my own notice which will say, "The reason the health insurance premiums are being raised are simply because the insurance company can do it. Support single payer option." And as a Union Steward, I may just ask the V.P. if he is for any public option. We are a 60/40 split company. The employer pays 60 pct. and we pay 40 pct. I suspect he may agree with me as it is his job to try and make money for our division.

2. that`s why the insurance companies are shitting |

your employer would dump them and co pay a government plan. everyone would benefit from a government plan . healthcare benefits would`t be an issue during contract time.
