Celebrity Death Pool
Edited on Sun Jun-28-09 02:34 PM by President Decider
It's been a tremendously tough month as far as celebrity deaths are concerned. First David Carradine, then Ed McMannon, then Farrah, then Michael Jackson, then TV pitchman Billy Mays (to a lesser celeb extent).

They're falling fast friends, who's next to go?

I'm going with the following:

I think Patrick Swayze goes next, immediately followed by Walter Cronkite based on the latest health update that I've heard on each.

Anyone else?

He tried to sell insurance to a black snake in my back yard today. Hope he had life insurance.

Now, where's that duck?

4. Hmm. Walter Cronkite, may sadly be next...
But he's crusty old codger that'll fight, so I'm going with Carrot Top dying tragically in a fall in New Zealand...

Man, if this prediction comes to fruition, you better start playing the lotto!

I can also see Amy Whitehouse and Andy Dick as being those that "OD" in the night.

33. No, unfortunately Janet died about a year or so ago. It was sad.
But I recently read Tony Curtis's autobiography and when he was married to her he said she had a really bad drinking problem. And she was very thin. That might have contributed to her death...

39. There was even a little editorial in the NYT about her death.
Curtis said that Janet always felt overshadowed by Elizabeth Taylor, no aspiring actress could reach her heights. Curtis said he felt the same way about Brando. It's sad. Curtis was absolutely the best in "The Sweet Smell of Success" where he played himself essentially. Then he got sucked into all those ridiculous "Yonder is the castle of my fodder" type movies that made him a laughing stock...
