Obama's Approval Numbers are taking a Beating in Ohio
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/07/obama-poll-numbers-take-b_n_227185.html

President Barack Obama's approval rating in Ohio has fallen rapidly in the past months.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,259 voters in Ohio from June 26 to July 7. The poll found that 49% of voters disapprove of the job Obama is doing, while 44% approve.

That is 13 points down from May, when a separate Quinnipiac poll found a 62% approval rating and a 31% disapproval rating.

4. It wil be difficult..This ain't a normal recession. There is..
no such thing. We live in a Mc Donald's world. Now, 5 minutes is too long.

This recession is worse than any other. No manufacturing base to restore jobs when demand returns. Bush made sure of that. This could go on for a very long time.

9. Ummmm......
Destuction and loss of our manufacturing base pre-dates Bush by decades. And Dems have been complicit in that loss.

3. It's expected I think until the job market turns around.
My guess, though, if Ohio had a revote that it would still go to Obama over McCain.

5. Those numbers are backwards -- its 49% approve, 44% disapprove.

7. Follow the frickin money
The people in Ohio who voted for Obama ain't getting it. Meanwhile he is throwing it at the corporations.

If he doesn't deliver something tangible to positively impact day to day lives then he is likely to get his butt kicked when he seeks re-election. Patience is for those who have the luxury of waiting for circumstances to improve. Tens of millionbs don't have that luxury.

10. OP is incorrect -- here are the correct numbers from the survey:
Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president?

Approve 49
Disapprove 44
DK/NA 8
