Why Aren't The Dems Demanding An Apology For 'Pedophile" Remarks? |

If it was the gophers they'd be up in arms screaming bloody murder.

6. MSNBC Has Been Reporting That The RWs |
|
Have been smearing Obama for supposedly looking at a 15 year old's bum when he did nothing of the sort and the word pedophile is being used to describe the non incident

I saw a troll use the word here today, and I imagine that it's been flung around by freepers, but I haven't heard of any actual elected or prominent republican using the word ...

I'm aware of the photo and the exonerating tape, I just hadn't seen the word pedophile being used.

5. Because *most* Dems aren't hysterical. Some are, yes. Even DUers. But *most* aren't. n/t |

It's a nasty insinuation on top of a pile of them that have been slung at Obama. And noxious enough for Shuster to do a segment on it.

8. MSNBC is all over it - Schuster, O'Donnell (on Hardball), AND Ed Schultz all had it today |
|
It was pretty impressive to see them cover on every single show this afternoon. The photo with the insinuations and then the video showing what actually happened, over and over.

10. There's no substance to it. The RW can do obnoxious things but Dems don't have to sink to their lows |

15. Of Course There's No Substance To It |

Just as there wasn't when Kerry was swiftboated. That does not make it right . I can't imagine the uproar there would be if * was called such or Laura was called a gorilla by a state representative. And calling people on their behavior is not sinking to their level, it's demanding civility and the respect for the office that has been, up until the last 8 years, a standard.

12. Yes but what about the ones who aren't brain dead? Those that still have a pulse? |
|
An apology is warranted, "hysterical" is a shallow put down with all sorts of -ist connotations.

There would be no demands for apologies.
