C-Street kingpin? Coburn?
Is this where they go to discuss their criminal ventures? Their moral shortcomings? All under the watchful eye of Deacon Coburn so that the information can be held as "privileged".
Just curious.

1. Get a copy of
"The Family" - http://tinyurl.com/motp49

You'll find the answer to your questions - and a whole lot more - in this book.

You can preview it here: http://tinyurl.com/l5zpmm

The author was on Rachel Maddow's show twice last week - if you can find the clips at the MSNBC site, I strongly urge you to watch them - fascinating stuff...............

2. Thanks!
I feel like I am coming in with bits and pieces of this story--which should, in a sane world, topple the power base in Washington.

3. I think we've just been seeing the "Coming Attractions" -
now we have time to run out to the lobby, get some popcorn, Raisinets, Milk Duds, and maybe another Diet Coke, and the zip right back into the darkened theater before the feature film begins..............................

5. Coburn's A Con Artist...
The one thing that always bothered me was that President Obama considers this slimeball a friend.

He sits at the corner of self righeous, pompus ass and show me the money. He's played games in the Senate...putting so many holds on bills that Reid finally got fed up, bundled them together and forced him to back down. But this guy has a big con going on and maybe this scandal will expose it.

The fact he was so cavillere in telling Johnny Boy to spend whatever it took to make the scandal go away before it got out shows you his true "values". It also makes him complicit in committing a crime, but I don't see the Senate having the stones to really investigate one of their own. Then he comes out with the bullshit that he was "counseling" as a physician and deacon. The fact he was an OB/GYN (sure does good for Johnny Boy) turns this into a real farce and demonstrates the pompus side of this shitstain.

This has zero to do with faith...bottom line is Colburn knew that a scandal that forced Ensign out or blew up in last years election would cost him influence and money.

Oh the irony...he rails on how our government shouldn't throw money at a problem and what's his "advice" or "consul" to someone in trouble?
