Secretary Geithner is on top of this. Just like he was on top of the sub-prime crisis when he was the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of NY

Has figured out...oh-uh.
Remember this was one of the biggest cheerleaders and sellers of de-regulation and free trade in the late 1990s i.e. he is one of the guys who caused this shit.

5. God damn it, I love America. |
|
Only in the United States could you actually fuck over an entire population, lie to the population, and then tell them it's for their good that they seriously wouldn't organize a rebellion and chop off your head with a guillotine. If you had done this in Europe, there would be a revolution.
America, land of opportunity...to let the greed run over everything, destroying all.

The gap between the upper middle class and the top 1% or even the top half percent is huge. You know what these upper middle class are to the "old money" and the establishment? They're ants trying to be gods. The upper-middle class may not be suffering as much as the bottom fifth of the US population, but they sure are not in a position to challenge the elite, not yet anyway.
The only way something will break loose is if there is a schism in the top 1% over what to do. If such a schism occurs, the real power struggle between the financial elite will begin. The opportunity to dethrone them all would be found then and there because they would be too busy trying to destroy each other to notice the working classes.

Trust me on this. Unemployed people and the manager class unemployed equals bad things for the elites.
They have forgotten what happens when they don't bribe the ants to stay out of their houses.
The Upper Middle Class is used to dealing with all of the classes so when a crisis hits they are generally the ones who negotiate it.
