I had thought it was Murdoch himself, or somebody pretty high up on the Fox food chain, but I could swear somebody at Fox recently admitted that.

However, I couldn't find it via a quick google search.

2. I remember that
The guy that heads the whole company said that he was committed to doing everything in his power to get Republicans elected.

The Dem. sec. of state in here CT even commented about that on radio a few years back.

3. I recall hearing that as well, but can't recall the source...
FOX just doesn't "lean" right, they fell over 10 minutes after it first aired. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there wasn't RNC seed money in there somewhere...

5. One stat I like to point out
Was that in a study of media coverage prior to the 2004 election, the far-right Media Research Center (MRC) found the major networks all had a slight bias towards John Kerry. If I recall the exact stats, it was anywhere from 53-58% of the stories that showed bias were either pro-Kerry or anti-Bush.

However, there was one exception that the MRC found, and that was Fox News, which was like 84% pro-Bush.

Now, if a far-right organization like the MRC is saying that Fox is overwhelmingly pro-Republican, what would a middle-of-the-road organization say about that? Not to mention that this MRC also found only a slight bias towards Kerry on the other networks despite the parade of scandals from the Bush White House...
