For the fact they strongly want personal freedoms. Are against the War. Hate government intervention in other countries.
Economic wise, you would be right about 20 years ago... The republicans favor no "conservative" economic policies... I don't care what they say.

Personally, I would view it as actual health care run by the government...which I don't believe has been proposed.

This "poll" goes totally against the grain of the real polls out there that aren't made up of all libertarians. National polls show something like 70% (?) for universal health care. Anyway, I did my part and voted for a public option there.
