So if businesses have responsibilities to investors only,
why bother being a customer?

Then their profits would drop and investors would throw big tantrums...

??

Not the environment, not ethics, not the state of education... nothing. At all. Investors don't care.

Then they'd actually have to provide valuable goods and/or services, and that would really screw with profits.

Why bother with that, when you can just hire some creative accountants and PR people to pump up the balance sheets?

Instead of reading textbooks we should be observing successful CEOs... if we're to be taught how to be successful...
