2. I loved the fact that she waited a couple of days

instead of refuting him outright during his screed. This gave her and her staff time to come up with all those interesting facts--like Buchanan telling Nixon affirmative action was great--for Catholics! :rofl: The whole segment made Pat out to be a lying hypocrite.

3. I watched it on tv

My respect for her has grown. She shot so many fact holes in Buchanan's diatribe that he'll look like the cranky old doddering ass hole that he is from now on, 'cause I suspect he'll keep on spewing the same lame crap without hesitation. And I bet he makes snide remarks about her from now on. He strikes me as being vengeful if anyone pricks that super inflated ego bubble of his.

9. So glad she included the contributions of the Chinese in the West.

Rachel's history lesson was not limited to the black slaves who built so much of the East Coast, (including Washington, DC.) She mentioned the Chinese who were so important in the construction of the transcontinental railroad and in the mining industry of the West. Only "white folk" built this country? Pat you are a bigoted fool.

14. I cheered her when I saw the segment last night BUT

as I thought about it some more, I began to get pissed off that she constantly gives a platform to that lying racist bigot in the first place. This guy is actually worse than Rick Warren, IMO. I hope he never appears on her show again.

And I love the dignified way that she framed it.

She said that it wasn't fair to criticize someone when they weren't there to defend themselves, but then went on to explain that she had a responsibility to her audience not to let factual falsehoods stand uncorrected on her show.
