It's not a Mean, or Unkind Intent. It's just that some have REAL PROBLEMS WITH IT!

hypocrisy

• noun (pl. hypocrisies) the practice of claiming to have higher standards or beliefs than is the case.

— ORIGIN Greek hupokrisis ‘acting of a theatrical part’.

2. FDR's hypocrisy saved millions of lives.
But I suppose he should have shut up because he had a big house. Yes. Of course.

7. Let's say Edwards' work could lift millions out of poverty. Your argument is he shouldn't?
Because he has a big house?

9. Unless He Is Willing To Radically Change The System - I Don't See How Anything
He says will make a dent in the true problems.

Candidate rhetoric just does not cut it for me anymore.

Actions speak louder than words and his actions building that house speak volumes.

If he's got the money, and wants it then so be it!

I want to know his politics. And any fucking moran around here should be the same way!

14. Not really...think about it...that some of us worry about our Dems
not having a sense of "HYPOCRICY!" about what they do. In other words...it WAS OFFENSIVE to many of us that Edwards built this new Place in Anticipation of his New Role where he might "just in case" need a secure Compound.

It reminded many of us of when George II bought his "Pig Farm/Ranch" in anticipation of his P-Residency.

Lots of DU'ers who have been here since the "2000 Selection" are VERY SENSITIVE to Candidates "Counting their Eggs before They are Hatched." And Edwards "Spread" struck many on a "wrong note."

That's more the point than Harpies Jumping on Edwards for what seemed to some as "no reason."

That's all I'm saying....
