'The Colony' - survivalist experiment on Discovery Channel |
|
Edited on Sat Jul-25-09 01:34 PM by Liberal_in_LA
Anyone watching "The Colony" on Discovery Channel. A bunch of people trying to survive for 10 weeks in a post Apocalypse Los Angeles... it started this week.
The cross section of society = Trauma Nurse, Doctor, Machinist, 3 Engineers, contractor, Marine biologist and a handyman. That's not exactly a 'cross section". Where is the accountant, retail clerk, housewife, etc.. Guess they figure the rest of us wouldn't survive.
It's interesting how the older engineer is becoming leader.

3. The colonists seem pretty upscale generally, so probably no forclosure victims. |
|
Although the handyman seems a little rough around the edges and one guy admitted to having spend 6 years in jail
