10 Nagging questions about the Republicans.
1. How can they glorify material wealth and lecture people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and at the same time worship a man who did not equate material wealth with virtue and spent His life serving others?

2. How can they believe that two issues Jesus did not speak a word about (that I know of), homosexuality and abortion, are the two central issues in Christianity?

3. How can they claim to love work so much when they think that workers should pay higher taxes than people who make their money through inheritance or capital gains?

4. How can they say that the media liberal when it is treating the birther nuts like they have a shred of legitimacy (for example)?

5. How are the Republicans "anti-government" when they believe the government should spend insane amounts of money to kill and jail people and force Christianity down our throats?

6. Why are people who are claiming to be "anti-government" trying to get INTO government? I can't stand country music, so why would I be camping out at the Grand Ole Opry waiting for tickets?

7. Why are they stuck in the Cold War era? Any semblance of "socialism" (as in general state ownership of business) has long since collapsed in most of the world.

8. How can they claim that Naziism/Hitler is "liberal" (because it comes from National "Socialist" German Workers' Party)? How many "liberals" do you know who believe in a "master race" and want to segregate (or eradicate) any "inferior" race? Remember also how good friends the Nazis were with the Communists?

9. How can they believe that they love America so much when they refuse to take any financial responsibility for it? If America were a kid, the Republicans would lose custody.

10. How is it that a person who criticizes US foreign policy hates America, but people who fly the flag of those who made war against America over disagreement with its policy (of thinking that blacks should have basic human rights) don't hate America?

1. Because
They have had their critical thinking skills pounded out of them by incessant propaganda, misinformation, misdirection and emotional blackmail.

3. Well///
1. Lack of critical thinking/actually reading the whole fucking book.
2. See above.
3. They think (despite being proven wrong demonstratively) that it creates jobs and wealth domestically.
4. Their political compass is so out of wack that anything left of Rush is "librul".
5. It's OK as long as the people jailed and killed aren't like them.
6. So they can destroy it and reform it to do the above.
7. Because they're idiots who think that Reaganism is "Capitalism". They also think REagan beat the Soviet Union.
8. You see...they are idiots.
9. See 8
10. Draping oneself in the flag solidifies any arguement.

4. Two Wise Men Summed It All Up:
"The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness."

-- James Kenneth Galbraith

"Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid people... it is true that most stupid people are conservative."

— John Stuart Mill
