Even if it's something that's REALLY FUCKING STUPID.

I say bring on the Birthers

It's a great way for me to separate these dumbasses from the normal folk.

1. To me freedom of speech means
Everyone has the right to open mouth and see how far they can insert foot.
I have the right to not listen if I choose.

But some of these clowns must be real contortionists since they can put foot in mouth while head up ass.

3. people do have a right to say what they want, but they should also be responsible for
the consequences. they are spreading false accusations.... and that is some sort of libel or something. and them saying what they want shouldn't be mixed with a media that refuses to put forward the facts to dispute it, thus implying that what these poeple are saying is true.

4. people can say whatever they like. but nothing they say has any effect or power.
which is why they're allowed to say it.

5. One thing for sure, if Health Insurance Reform does not happen...
I will become very cold to anyone who complains about their health care situation and they did nothing to support reform or even worse did something to thwart it.

We have to take action ourselves to insure Congress knows what Americans really think, not just a bunch of loud rude assholes.

6. Except that when most of us say what we want, there's not TV coverage wall-to-wall
and that's why birthers & loonies like them are dangerous..

When "the other side" is stifled and not aired alongside the loonies, people can believe that what's shown is true..

That's why right wiing radio is so powerful. Soemwhat rational people "can" come to the conclusion, that the only valid "argument" is the middle-right/batshitcrazy right opinion, because no other opinion is given equal weight.

If you grow up with people who insist that the sky is purple, and no one corrects you , you will grow up thinking that "blue" is "purple".
