if the Blue Cross Dogs successfully fight this and they wimp out on health insurance reform again. It will be a repeat of the bloodbath of 1994 and for the same reason.
Only this time it will be worse. Too many of us have been or know someone who was mugged by the health insurance companies. It's gone way past the tipping point where cosmetic change to a bad system will do anything.

with a Dem majority in the Senate and the House and a Dem President we could have single payer but for the frickin cowardly bastards we've elected.
You're right, I'm gonna blame the Dems when we don't get it. And we won't. I expect nothing more than cosmetic reform that leaves millions uninsured - and the insurance companies rolling in even more profits.
I might prefer to blame batshit crazy Michele Bachmann but then she didn't get elected by selling hope for change......

should be made public knowledge, so when voting comes around again we can make an informed decision as to whom was on the take.
