vandals toss parked cars from the Smart brand into the city’s canals
Alongside most canals a low guard rail helps prevent cars from taking a dip, but the Smart car is small enough to be lifted and tossed.
Car Tipping
In recent years vandals have also targeted other small vehicles, including scootmobiles and tiny cars from the Canta brand
In an urban version of cow tipping, yobs apparently derive fun from tipping over these types of vehicles.

2. Years ago it was a common prank to get a bunch of guys and...
lift a parallel parked VW Beetle and either set it on the sidewalk or turn it around 180 degrees

3. If it damages, it's not a prank. It's destruction of property. nt

4. When the city was dredging the swamp next to our house
Some neighbors had a party and one of the guests had an MG convertible. As a prank, some of the men picked the MG up and put it in the bucket of the dragline being used for dredging.

The owner didn't find the car until the next day - you couldn't see it in the bucket at all.

But they made sure they didn't do any damage and as rowdy as that party got, it was probably a good thing the owner couldn't find his car to drive, anyway.
