David Broder, High Priest of All that is Bipartisan, will have to decide if the Sotomayor confirmation vote drew sufficient Republican support to be "bipartisan." If not, Justice Sotomayor can be safely relegated to politicalappointmentland and ignored for the duration of her tenure on the high court.
The average IQ of the Supreme Court just went up about 12 points. It will go up 15 points when either Thomas or Scalia leave the bench.
