50 million could have healthcare |
|
if racism wasn't involved. These MFer's don't want blacks & hispanics to have access to affordable healthcare.

6. and a lot of people of all colors who have the means |
|
but have been declared uninsurable, the worst, cruelest part of all.
Even people who have insurance are finding out it's not worth a whole lot if the cancer's a bad one. It's capped.

We would all be a lot healthier if the money sucked out of the health system by the insurance companies had actually been used toward healthcare instead of making some fat cats richer.

2. Lack of health care know no race |
|
People who are working very hard to make ends meet don't have health care simply because it is too expensive or they have a pre-existing condition.

7. Its far more complicated than that |
|
With single-payer universal care, 90% of Americans would be paying less than they would now, if not more. The problem is the ones that would pay more own the businesses, TV stations, newspapers, etc.
Look, the bottom line rules America. Because of this, those who would pay more are skewing the figures and lying to confuse the rest on the real cost of health care. Because their bottom line would be more than their current expenditure, they are controlling perception and trying their best to get the rest of the country on their side. If America's elite wouldn't have to pay more for universal health care, everyone would be for it.
Now, they may use racism, distortions and demagoguery to control the debate, but all they are really concerned about is their dough. As for everyone else, no one would mind *paying* less if it meant minorities were also covered (IOW, they don't want to pay more so minorities aren't covered). Rather, they are just too fucking stupid and mind-controlled by the elite to look at the actual figures.

9. 50 million could have insurance if they would just extend Medicare to them |
|
the current bills floating around Congress will not get the uninsured covered very quickly. The CBO estimates that HR3200 would only cover 10 million by 2019.
