Some background on "Mr. Political Science Major":

You can always tell when his dander is up about something, as he posts a lot about it in a short amount of time. Today, it's health care reform:

"The Congressional Budget Office says the Democratic leadership's plan to reduce health costs by focusing on preventive medicine will not succeed. In fact, the nonpartisan body says it will actually increase costs due to increased usage."

Followed by:

"Congress could reduce a lot of health care costs if it addresses the problems of health care monopolies and managed care."

2. That argument of "lower costs by covering fewer people" cracks me up
It completely misses the point.

The problem isn't just that we pay a lot. It's that we don't get a lot for what we pay for.

4. Oh, and there's his status update:
"Radical idealism amounts to the denial of reality and the failure to examine history or the larger picture. Evil is frequently wrought by good intentions."
