60plus.org= National Defense Council Foundation!
www.60plus.org - a faux roots swift boating group spreading damned lies on CNN right now about gov't cutting off healthcare to old people

It interestingly has the same exact address (down to the suite# and the same FAX#) as the National Defense Council Foundation (a right wing defense "thinktank") and in the same building as a lot of lobbying organizations.

Ironically they brag about delivering medical relief supplies to Haiti on their front page...

"Major Messing (center) delivering critical medical supplies to an orphanage in Haiti. This trip was only a small part of NDCF's continuing medical relief program, which has spanned more than two decades, providing more than 140 tons of medical supplies to innocent civilians in some of the hottest combat zones on the planet."

However, a 2006 report in the AARP Bulletin called 60 Plus a front group for the pharmaceutical industry. 60 Plus, along with Senior Coalition and United Seniors Association, "claim to speak for millions of older Americans, although as recently as 2001 none of the three listed any revenue from membership dues on their tax returns." The article added: "virtually all of their largest contributions in recent years have come from the same source -- the nation's pharmaceutical industry." <3>
