Why all the Town Halls?
By having these damned things it only gives the repukes a forum to complain, shout like crazy peopl, and steal the newscycle. Is anything really being debated or is anyone even learning anything in these things?

The M$M is enjoying getting to show clip after clip of idiots yelling at Dems. It makes us look real smart too by continuing to line up event after event, when we know the outcome.

We OVERWHELMINGLY ELECTED DEMOCRATS this past election so that they would go and do what we asked them to do. Why do they feel the need to come check with us every two weeks to make sure that we still give them our approval? They dont change anything when we say that we dont like the direction in which they are heading. I'm sick of toothless town halls, petitions that never amount to anything, and the constant weak appearance of the Democrats on the national stage. You remember the Democratic Party Platform?- we liked it, now go do it and stop asking us every damn day if we still like you. Go do your jobs and we'll talk again in 2010.

1. We really don't need these right now, but I guess they're an August tradition. nt

4. And the heavy demand for reform...
...forces Congress to pretend to listen.

3. I think it's brilliant.
The crazier the protesters get, the more it discredits their "cause".

That, and a lot of people do have reasonable questions that could be well addressed at these forums should they turn out to be orderly.
