No more kowtowing to the minority assholes on the right.

Push through healthcare reform. And include single-payer in it as well.

The assholes on the right will have their chance at power some day. They're more than welcome to do whateverthefuck they can get away with (again) once they're in power.

The time to stop appeasing these assholes has long past.

1. They had their chance - good riddance to them
They had their chance, controlling both the White House and Congress, and they couldn't do jack shit. Not only did they not do anything to help the country, they made things WORSE. Fuck them.

3. Sorry, they did a lot more than 'jack shit'.
The Patriot Act 1 and 2 come to mind immediately.

Suspending of Habeus Corpus.

Guantanamo Bay. Abu Ghraib. Iraq.

I agree - good riddance to them. However, they WILL be back in power someday.

Well, I meant "jack shit" in terms of helping our country advance
But you're right - they did quite a bit of real damage during their time in power, damage that won't soon be forgotten.

2. It seems that the majority you think the Democrats hold is merely an illusion.

4. Based upon their actions, one would think that the Dems have neither majority power or majority
support from the American people.

8. Seen through which filter or perspective?
Democrats are on the move getting things done, usually the side on the move is not out protesting. Many democrats think it will get done right, we got executive branch and majorities in both houses. They expect things to be done correct.

Now what do you think would happen if it turned out the Democrats turned on the people that elected them and acted like Republicans.

5. Exactly! We've got 60 senators, there's no more excuses
we don't need them and if they don't want to come along with the rest of the country, leave them behind

10. We will have to make the Democratic Party do it. We need a general strike.
That's how they get things done in France. They still have them occasionally in Canada. We have to "make" our leaders do the right thing. Obama wasn't kidding when he said "we are" the change. We have to make him give us single payer.
