3. I have a nephew in Afghanistan

but he is very well supplied by 5 aunts, his mom, his wife, and a local VFW chapter. You are so kind to offer... anysoldier.com is a wonderful organization and I send packages through them also.

7. Good deal!

We've sent a lot through anysoldier.com. The soldiers we contacted liked art supplies, so we loaded them down with all kinds of art media and equipment. My wife sent a photo per a solders request and she received a beautiful charcoal portrait back. We've received wire scorpions and carvings, too. Our contact in Iraq was a 57 yr old woman in Balad, Iraq. She sent us a double CD full of pics she had taken herself. The photography was phenomanal!

8. Not that I care, all I gotten back over since this mess started

was a scare... (we got a package back and we went, oh shit... no, they left early)

A letter and a card.

And I don't care.

I see this is as a way to let them know we care.

Hubby retired as a Chief, and I hold my own as a vet (somewhere else) so we both understand how important this is for moral.
