Yet another GOP member of Congress comes out as a birther
http://www.charlotteobserver.com/breaking/story/885175.html

At a town hall forum in Lincolnton Wednesday night, U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry said he was unconvinced that President Obama is a U.S. citizen.

During a three-hour question-and-answer session, primarily on health-care reform, Lincolnton resident Alan Hoyle asked if McHenry thinks Obama is a citizen. McHenry answered, "I haven't seen enough evidence one way or the other."

McHenry also said the issue is being addressed "in the courts."

God these people are such f'ing idiots.

1. Their stupidity should disqualify them from public office, unfortunately
there are too many stupid and racists voters to boot his ass next year.

3. He's an ignorant little twerp
I guess he's concerned that his face hasn't been on TV enough lately. We used to always see him front and center-you know, barely rising above the podium ranting

5. Isn't that referred to as sitting on the fence until you know which way to fall?
These people are racist, but don't want to admit it.

6. He's an arrogant creep with a sense of entitlement.
Some of his choice quotes:

Comparing Congress to junior high:
“This place is a much more sophisticated junior high school. There are the nice guys that everybody likes, the jocks, the geeks, the bullies -- they're all here. It's a representative democracy.”

Sense of entitlement:
"We spent the night in the Green Zone, in the poolhouse of one of Saddam’s palaces. A little weird, I got to be honest with you. But I felt safe. And so in the morning, I got up early — not that I make this a great habit — but I went to the gym because I just couldn’t sleep and everything else. Well, sure enough, the guard wouldn’t let me in. Said I didn’t have the correct credentials. It’s 5:00 in the morning. I haven’t had sleep. I was not very happy with this two-bit security guard. So you know, I said, “I want to see your supervisor.” Thirty minutes later, the supervisor wasn’t happy with me, they escort me back to my room. It happens. I guess I didn’t need to work out anyway."

Probably the most true words he's ever spoken:
"We will lose on legislation. But we will win the message war every day, and every week, until November 2010. Our goal is to bring down approval numbers for Pelosi and for House Democrats. That will take repetition. This is a marathon, not a sprint."

7. It was addressed in the courts. And slapped the fuck down.
Funny how no one has pointed that out to him.

9. He likely doesn't believe a word of it
but he's read the polls of his increasingly lunatic party and is trying for political longevity.
