Grassley Has Signaled Bipartisanship
Edited on Thu Aug-13-09 09:59 AM by WeDidIt
Basically, Grassley has just given the signal to everybody, Republicans cannot work with Democrats on Health Care and Democrats must go it alone.

That's as far as bipartisanship goes now.

2. For Sure
That will be the best thing that has happened so far provided that the dems actually do it. They seem to be afraid of the big bad world without rethugs holding their hands.

3. I think Grassley has degenerated so much
he's no longer capable of working with anybody on anything.

He's so busy socking Big Pharma and Big Insurance money into his bank accounts he doesn't care what sort of societal wreckage he leaves behind. imo.

6. insight on Grassley yesterday on DemocracyNow
here it is
http://www.democracynow.org/2009/8/12/sharlet
basically, the way I see it, Grassley is on a religious mission.
And what did our Founders have to say about mixing religion & state?

10. Did you see the thread this morning saying
"Time to pull the plug on Grandpa Grassley."

I thought that was just wickedly funny.
I am not a nice person. Don't even pretend anymore. heh.
