Question concerning civilians working at military bases, |
|
just got an e-mail from an old HS friend. We check in with each other a couple of times a year. His e-mail has the letters 'CIV' after his name.
Is that solely used just for civilian designation.
He works at an AF base.
Thanks,

1. That would be my guess. |

Similarly, the letters ".ctr" is sometimes used after the names of contractor employees. At least that's the case for folks who work on the local Navy base.
