Death Panels Are The New Swift Boat Lies. Democats Err By Not Smacking It Down Hard

And scoring their own rhetorical points in the process.

#1. They could easily feature how Insurance Co's already force people to accept early death due to denial of care
#2. They could easily feature the Charity Health Care Clinics 1000's of Americans are relying on for necessary care RIGHT NOW.

Just quietly taking out the provisions for Living Wills and not fight back was/is a mistake, IMO.

1. Agreed. We thought the Swift Boaters were funny too. Too stupid to take seriously.
And how did that work out?

2. I disagree. The average American (if such a thing exists) is making plans for
the rest of their summer, getting ready for college, or preparing to go back to school. They are not really paying attention to the GOP hysteria over the health plan. They are taking the same break as Congress (physical or mental). In September, they will want Congress to pass the Health bill. The teabaggers picked the wrong time for their foolishness and are wasting their poutrage and energy. People tuned in here pay a lot more attention to the news cycle than the average person, especially in the late summer.

4. Will Obama man up on these Swift Boat attacks on HCR?
The next question is... Is Obama another Clinton, or another Kerry?
