Les Paul, more than any other person on Earth... |
|
Edited on Thu Aug-13-09 07:56 PM by MrScorpio
Was the man most responsible for helping the rock musicians of the world obtain massive amounts of fine young boo-tay.
A true legend of Gettin'-It-On has passed away.

I posted earlier about Les Paul dying today at age 94, and had not one response. I idolized him for making such fine guitars. I never had a Les Paul (an ES335 instead) but I wish I could afford one. Lots of people are interested in Micheal Vick though......

4. They are masterpieces. |
|
I have played them, and also a 1970s era Ibanez knockoff, before they were sued for making them too similar. The undisputed king of electric guitars, bar none.

6. He also pioneered multi-track recording |
|
Which I use as a one man band. I grew weary of trying to get four musicians at the same place and time sober.
My favorite Les Paul contribution is the concept of musically intense guitar solos, regardless of how out of style they have become.

A guitar won't get your wick dipped. It's all about attitude, and that doesn't come with a guitar.
