Why does MSNBC insist on using that fake bookshelf background?
They've got Bernie Sanders in front of that wallpaper. Does someone in the control booth think we can't tell a real bookshelf from a fake one? Come on, guys - Keith and Rachel deserve better.

1. That's on Bernie's side. Wherever he's broadcasting from chose it. NT

2. I don't know, but I was just sitting here thinking:
how can you not love that guy? I mean, what's not to love about Bernie Sanders...

We sure could use more of him around!

6. He just says it
no tiptoeing around the point. That's so incredibly refreshing in a politician.

7. Well, usually they use a fake backdrop of the city the guest is speaking from.
Not sure why fake bookshelves are worse.

They even have to project a fake backdrop behind Keith on nights when the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is being lit, because there's too much distracting flashing light and activity right outside the windows behind him, which ordinarily actually show the plaza.

subconsciously they are telling you ''hey this guy hangs out with books..he must be smart":)of course, when a republican appears in from of a book case, the dividers must be highlighted so that a "cross" appears, so you know they are "godly"..
