2. No kidding
My mom grew up on a farm. That life taught her to never become attached to the critters.

14. and never name them:)
My friend and her husband had a "farmette" in New Mexico, and their son named all the ducks & chickens, so they all ended up dying of old age:)

4. What kind of "farm"? A factory farm?
Or just the kind that has a few acres and a few critters, out in the country? Honestly, I wouldn't judge someone's regard for animals based on that statement.

6. I'm sure as PETA is concern it makes no difference
If it was a factory farm or a farm that only butchered a few animals a year.

They would most likely compare her statement to "I love Jews, I worked at a concentration camp"

13. Not all farms kill animals
I grew up near family-owned dairy farms - the cows had a pretty nice life. I don't think even Peta would object.

5. Early life-New York city and McLean Virginia
Early life
Brzezinski was born in New York City, the daughter of foreign policy expert and former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski and sculptor Emilie Anna Benešová, a grandniece of Czechoslovakia's former president Edvard Beneš. Her father was then teaching at Columbia University, but the family moved to McLean, Virginia, near Washington, D.C., in late 1976, when Zbigniew was named National Security Advisor by newly-elected President Jimmy Carter.

Brzezinski attended The Madeira School during her high-school years. She graduated in 1989 from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where she majored in English, after transferring from Georgetown University as a junior. Since 1993, Brzezinski has been married to TV news reporter James Hoffer, now of WABC-TV/WABC-DT.<4> They have two children.

I grew up in McLean and Arlington..........no farms
and New York city..????

12. I grew up in Franconia, Virgina (near Springfield). My school bus route drove past 2 farms
with horses and cows. McLean was different in the 60-70s than now.

Still don't believe her though.
