I'll go along with squeak-squeak's release. She didn't kill anyone. To hand out life-sentences like hot dogs at a used car lot is to cheapen the sentence; who respects the law when someone gets life for attempted murder, being a drug "king pin" (who was some how nabbed on a corner), or for committing three non-violent felonies?

They can keep the rest of the knife-wielders in the slam until they drool.
