Health Care – What’s to “debate?”
Most Democrats want a universal, single payer health care system like that which exists in the rest of the industrialized world – all the Western European countries, Canada, and Japan – among others. But most of us would probably settle for a plan that includes a public option which would immediately bring down costs, and would cover everyone who wanted it.

Most Republicans don't want this. Most Republicans couldn’t care less who dies due to the lack of money to live.

It seems to me that we’ve already had this “debate.” It was called an election and it took place last November. We won.

So why doesn’t everyone just stop this “debate” bullshit? And why don’t Democrats just do what they were elected to do? And why don’t we just ignore the existence of Republicans unless they’re carrying guns, posting threats, or disrupting civilization, whereupon we call the cops?

It’s really that simple. I guess the flaw in my reasoning is those Dems who are bought and paid for by the med insurance companies and big pharma. So why doesn’t the White House threaten to withhold all Democratic funding from their reelection campaigns, threaten to put up an attractive candidate to run against them, and tell them to get with the program, or else?

It really is that simple. -- Isn’t it?
