Healthcare - Do we have the votes? |
|
If we just gave an unconditional, unqualified FUCK YOU to the Tea Baglicans and Blue Dogs, do we have the votes on Health Care?
Oh and...what's Jim Webb's position? I was impressed by him as a candidate, but don't know his stance.
Thanks anyone who can help me.

4. We have the votes, we just want to make the bill shitty throught "bipartisanship" |
|
Put the bill through reconciliation like the repukes did, and have Joe Biden break the tie to give the American people a solid public option.

5. FUCK BIPARTISANSHIP - RAM IT THROUGH |
|
Edited on Fri Aug-14-09 02:37 PM by Jack_Dawson
Ever since Boehner stiffed Obama and Cantor stiffed Obama's invitation for beers at the White House, IT'S ON.
Let the Teabaglicans again be on the same side as segregated water fountains and opposition to Medicare.

7. Ram it through with a strong public option. |
|
When they whine, just remind them that Bush spent more and accomplished less with the giant drug company subsidy Medicare Part D.
Give us a strong public option that people will like and Republicans will look like fools for opposing it. If we're stuck with some bloated, watered down status quo "reform", no one wins.

6. So we could do this? I'm hopeful they'll get fed up with the bipartisanship |
|
attempt shortly. They gotta be tired of getting kicked in the teeth.
I'd love to see your scenario occur!
