Just remember, Conrad, we can pass health care with govt. option by 51 votes with reconciliation

Sen. Kent Conrad says he will not vote for a government plan and is instead pushing his fuzzy co-op scheme. I say to Conrad that the Dem caucus has 60 votes. We can lose 10 dems and still get a health bill with a government plan passed the senate with 50 democrats plus VP Biden breaking a tie if necessary if we take the reconciliation approach. I also haven't given up on Snowe and/or Collins of ME voting with dems.
