Broadview security just gave me 4 months free for their Glenn Beck advertising

Thats $133. I know alarm monitoring is a racket but I have it because of my family and my job which requires travel.

I first called their main customer support number at 800-669-3484.

I asked if I was still under contract. We are out of the 3 year mandatory contract so there will be no charges to cancel.

They asked why and I told them I just wanted to discontinue service.

They asked if I wanted to be transferred to customer relations at 800-437-3611 and got sent to another person in about 2 minutes.

When asked why I explained I am sick of hearing Glenn Beck on Fox radio in the morning call Obama racist and a Nazi. I told them my mother was in the Hitler youth and my deceased grandfather was in the German army and that I know what Nazi's are and Obama is no Nazi. The reason for my cancellation is because I take it personally because I KNOW Nazi's and Obama is no Nazi. If anyone is racist it is Glenn Beck and we worked too hard to get someone decent in office. My voice really started trembling then as I explained how it makes me nauseous just knowing that I am supporting Beck's horrible lies with monthly payments to Broadview Security. She put me on hold for 4 minutes and then came back and asked me to wait and take the $133. I have no other complaints about them other than this so we shall see...

They bought themselves some time.

they responded fast to the 2 false alarms (I called my neighbor and confirmed how long it has been alerting)

17. A quality company should care and take note of what their

customers are saying. It makes good business sense. I hope that your comments go far in this business and that they will be smarter in the future with their advertisement dollars. :)
