Joe Sestak (D-PA) and Specter has been heckled at town hall meetings, public opinion simply does not turn around that fast and Specter has had massive leads over Toomey all year. the point was made that "popular vote" didn't matter ... remember the "electoral college vote" (well, after the Supreme Court got to weigh in)

This was after a noted talking head had mentioned (before some piddlin' little election) that a candidate who won the popular vote but lost the electoral college vote would have various legal options he could take ... funny, after the tied election, you never heard that sound clip again ...
