Cops called to Jon and Kate Gosselin's home (Jon & KatePlus 8)
Edited on Fri Aug-14-09 04:45 PM by RamboLiberal
When Kate Gosselin appeared on Monday's "Today" show, she told host Meredith Vieira that she still loves her soon-to-be ex, "the Jon I knew." However, the stars of TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" seem to have lost that loving feeling.

Around 6 p.m. Thursday, police arrived at the Gosselin family home in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, where the exes were engaged in a verbal argument. A source close to Kate Gosselin confirms she called police.

"(Police) got there and calmed the situation down," an officer tells PEOPLE. "No one was arrested and no citations were issued."

Another source says Kate called the house to find out which babysitter was helping with the children. When she didn't approve of the caretaker, an argument with Jon ensued.

"Due to the custody agreement, Kate couldn't enter the property," the source says. "The cops had no choice but to tell Kate she couldn't go past the gate."

Were the TLC camera's there. Maybe the cops should've tased them, that would've sure grabbed viewers. These two are just pimps for putting those 8 kids through these shows for the filming & the money. Time for TLC to pull the plug. And I'm hoping the way the idiot Jon is burning through money he's soon bankrupt - well he and Kate are already morally bankrupt.

4. These people need to get out of the public limelight.
I hope that they figure that out before the darling 8 are screwed up because of it.

Tears are something Kate is getting used to: In this week's PEOPLE the now single mother says, "I cry all the time, in numerous airports, in airplanes."

She'd rather not have her emotional life be so public, but she says, "It's not like I can put the tears on hold. So I try to cry very incognito, behind my sunglasses. And after those tears, there's always the feeling of, 'how did I get here?' "

How did she get here? She doesn't know????

5. She needs to get off the stage
If you want to cry Kate, get off the stage & cry in public. I have no sympathy when she whines about the paparazzi.

Problem is that TV show and her stupid books are their source of income to support this "faux rich" lifestyle they both now feel they can't do without.

At one time the show was probably cute, now all it's become is an infomercial for the freebie product placement of the week & a real-life soap opera.

I'm betting one or more of the kids will self-destruct when they reach the teen years and there will be some tell-all books or shows in their future.

6. I'm old enough to remember when teevee was very new, and it
was being touted as a great potential educational tool.

Now there is Jon & Kate, survivor, big brother, etc. and we no longer have teevee at our house.
