Follow up on a post I made about 2 weeks ago about local GM plant |
|
I posted that it looked like everyone was called back to work after massive cutbacks and layoffs. Well they were and today it looks like they are working 6 days, this week, at least. Obama stimulus at work?

I hope this is a sign of good things to come. It looks like the cash for clunkers is quite a success.

3. Cash for Clunkers has helped reduce inventory so maybe that is why your local plant is running again |

5. Are you sure they weren't just "called back" from an annual retooling "layoff". |

6. No, I know all about that. That's over the fourth of July holiday, usually |

the first 2 weeks of July. These people have been laid off for several months, some longer.
