Maybe, Just Maybe, The Sebelius Brouhaha Can Turn Into A Good Thing....
Edited on Sun Aug-16-09 10:14 PM by BlooInBloo
In terms of providing an adrenalin shot in our asses, and getting us more active in ensuring that the bill we get is the best one we CAN get. "Us" here means "those who don't want Obama to fail", at any rate.

At worst, we'll know from here on out who is really on our side, as opposed to those who just pretended to be, for whatever reason.

2. I think they know
that a lot of the Democratic "leadership" is in the tank for the bank. They aren't quite sure if they will ultimately have the juice to bring these fucks in line, so they are hedging their bets.

5. Learn to count. It's Democrats that are the problem

You can blame this on Republicans and "corporatemediawhores" all you want, but it is Democrats that are standing in the way of reform. The media doesn't get to vote on legislation and the Republicans are the minority party that doesn't have the power to stand in the way of anything.

6. Well, if you're going to be that way about it..Learn to read..
I wrote.. "and anyone else trying to bring them down."

But, the corporatemediawhores do get to influence policy with their fucking manipulation and manufactoring of the "news" and have the repukes on the punditheadshows to bray lies over and over again.

7. I think we ought to focus on the "anyone else"
since the "anyone else" are the only ones that have the majorities in Congress to actually pass legislation. But hey, if it makes you feel better to blame Glenn Beck and Mitch McConnell instead of Max Baucus and Kent Conrad and the other blatant obstructions in the majority party, then please, be my guest.
