You can blame this on Republicans and "corporatemediawhores" all you want, but it is Democrats that are standing in the way of reform. The media doesn't get to vote on legislation and the Republicans are the minority party that doesn't have the power to stand in the way of anything.

since the "anyone else" are the only ones that have the majorities in Congress to actually pass legislation.
