Rest assured Mr. President that if you sign a reform bill that does not include at least a public option, then this betrayal of trust will resonate like a hurricane through your base and beyond.
Do the right thing. Step up and demand a public option.
You should have started with Single-Payer and negotiated from there if need be, but you didn't.
