1. You mean Weiner is for single payer socialized medicine?
Does he want to be president? I have this vote that's looking for a candidate who wants what I want.

4. Halleluiah!!!!!!!!!
An honest man speaking the truth!!!!

I NEVER watch this show, so, if not for your wonderful post, I'd never have seen this brilliant moment of TV history.

Anthony Weiner, in the last few weeks, has become my new hero. Absolutely brilliant and courageous and correct. I am crazy about this guy..............................

9. I wonder what was said and "researched" during the break in the middle...

Yes, ole Joe was getting trapped by Weiner into an area he didn't want to go to avoid "offending" their advertisers. Weiner had him cold! It's precisely the same question I've also been asking others and noone can give any positive view of what they provide.

About the only thing one might say insurance companies provide is an online index to doctors (that they represent). It would help for another entity to pick up that function and do it a LOT cheaper and have it be an index for ALL doctors in a given locale, not just those in a given insurance company's "group".

Other than that, there's not really a DAMN thing they help with. I think early on, their justification for middle man was to help "hold down costs" by "out of control" doctors and other health care entities. Well they certainly are doing more now what they were describing themselves there to fight in the beginning in bankrupting the system.

They are just LEECHES and everyone should call them that! They are just blood-sucking parasites!

Weiner's certainly proud of his name, and his being truthful about what's afflicting our health care.

Michael Savage (another Weiner but a "closet" one), could take a lesson from him, but of course won't!

18. That was Part 2 - here is the link to Part 1
Weiner is impressive. If Baucus and Obama had not removed single payer from the start, Weiner could be out there selling it to the public today.

What he left out is that including everyone in Medicare would help with the costs since the people paying into the system would not just be over 65 old people, but would be the entire population, including the younger people who need less care.
