"Medicare 4 All" to fix the economy. |
|
Think about it:
Health Care Corporations do not contribute to the economy, consumers do. Those fat bastards at the top are collecting and hoarding cash, not spending it.
Our per capita spending on health care is over $5K/year. France, our next closest competitor, spends just over $2.6K/year (per capita).
Medicare for all would inject (theoretically) $864 BILLION dollars into the economy.

1. If I didn't have to worry about job = insurance coverage, I'd retire in a minute and do something... |

worthwhile. And I'm sure a lot of others would, too. Think of all the vacant positions that would create!

Four or five years - no one will hire me on account of my age and pre-exsiting conditions. Should they hire me then their premiums mushroom.

7. I have two ideas on how to pay for it |
|
(I admit I am partial to idea two)
1) Put the expense on the same line of the Federal Budget where Congress has their big fat smelly arses' health care paid for.
2) Retroactively tax each and every stinking CEO of each and every HMO and "Health insurance providers." In the same manner that they retroactively denied their clients care when they tried to use their insurance! (What is good fro the gander is good for the goose.)
